Cruise

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cruise uses, how that information is used during an active cruise, and what choices users have. Last updated: April 24, 2026.

What Cruise Does

Cruise is a group driving coordination app. During an active cruise, members of the same cruise can see one another on a shared map, view a shared destination, receive road hazard alerts, and use session-management features like leaving, ending, or being removed from a cruise.

Information We Use

What Cruise Does Not Ask For

How Your Information Is Shared

While you are part of an active cruise, your display name, live location, heading, speed, and relevant road or moderation reports may be visible to other members in that same cruise. This sharing is the core function of the app.

Cruise is not designed to publicly broadcast your location outside your active cruise membership.

Location Use

Cruise uses location services to keep your vehicle visible to other members of an active cruise and to support route guidance and road-awareness features. If Cruise is kept open in the background during an active cruise, location updates may continue so the cruise remains in sync. If you force-close the app, live tracking stops until the app is opened again.

Reports, Safety, and Moderation

Cruise includes community-submitted road alerts and moderation tools. Users can report riders or alerts, and leaders can remove or ban riders from a cruise. Reports may be stored for safety, moderation, and abuse-prevention purposes.

Data Retention

Live cruise information is intended for active session use. Ending or leaving a cruise stops your active participation in that session. Some moderation or safety-related reports may be retained for operational review.

Your Choices

Children

Cruise is not intended for children under 16.
